Riha, our own line
alsouq is the shop. Riha is the line we run ourselves, and it grows into the range step by step. Today the name sits on the jersey hijabs.
What Riha covers today
Riha covers the jersey hijabs for now. The rest of the range does not carry the name yet. Every new buy decides which part joins it. There is room alongside as well: in time we will carry other labels.
The Riha hijab
One fabric, one size, seven colours. The scarf is 180 by 75 centimetres and weighs around 150 grams. The composition is 94 percent polyester and 6 percent elastane. Mocha, Sand, Dusty Bone, Sage, Espresso, Cloud and Storm, all seven at € 14.99. Wash at 40 degrees in a laundry bag.
Why brown and coffee
The shop is new and has no sales figures of its own. The colours were chosen on what the market shows instead. Across eighteen Dutch and Belgian shops, brown, beige and taupe together are a quarter of what is on offer, against twelve percent black. That is why the weight of the line sits on brown and coffee.
The rest of the range
Beside the hijabs there are six styles online: open abayas, a closed dress, khimars in one and two layers, and a set. The fabrics are nida, linen and crinkle polyester. The size is the length of the garment in centimetres, from 138 to 153. Prices run from € 24.95 to € 59.95.
How we buy
We buy once per season. Every colour and every size is seen here before it goes online. The range stays small on purpose. We ship from the Netherlands to 25 EU countries, and you have fourteen days to change your mind.
