About alsouq

alsouq is a Dutch webshop for modest fashion. We work on quietly beautiful clothing that stays accessible, and choose calm quality over loud trends.

Our first line: Riha

We start with Riha, a line of premium jersey hijabs. Riha is Arabic for scent. Seven colours in the same fabric: 94 percent polyester and 6 percent elastane, around 150 grams per piece, and 180 by 75 centimetres.

Our choices

We picked one size, one price, and seven colours that work together. No new collections every month. No busy prints. No loud marketing.

Where we come from

The office is in the Netherlands. The cloth is woven in Turkey. We work with verifiable suppliers and stay in control of the chain from yarn to your front door.

Shipping

For now, alsouq sells online only. Shipping across the Netherlands takes 2 to 3 working days. Other EU countries follow later in the year.
